The County and District & Borough Councils in Norfolk have all signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant, as have the NHS, Department of Work and Pensions and many other organisations that support our public life. Norfolk County Council also administers the Norfolk Assistance Scheme, available to any Norfolk resident who is experiencing financial difficulties.

Veterans Advisory and Pensions Committees
The Eastern Region Veterans Advisory and Pensions Committee can help resolve issues with government sponsored agencies, such as Veterans UK (Veterans Welfare Service, Pensions and Compensations Claims) and the Office of Veterans Affairs, and provide direct contact with the Government’s Independent Veterans Advisor (IVA) or the Minister for Defence People and Veterans. Each county in the region has representatives on the committee and they can be contacted by emailing the following address: easternvapcchair@gmail.com
